Dulcolax 5 mg tablets are a stimulant laxative containing bisacodyl, intended to ease occasional constipation and to prepare the bowels before medical procedures. They stimulate intestinal activity and usually take effect within 6–12 hours. The tablets have an enteric (gastro-resistant) coating so they dissolve in the intestines for targeted relief.
