Lufart DS Tablets 80/480mg
Lufart DS 80/480mg is an antimalarial tablet combining artemether 80 mg and lumefantrine 480 mg, indicated for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated malaria. It is not intended for malaria prevention and must not be used for severe or complicated cases. This formulation is appropriate for adults weighing 35 kg and above.
Mechanism of action: the tablets act against the malaria parasite by interfering with parasite nucleic acid and protein synthesis, leading to parasite death.
